Welcome

My name is Rimma van Hlanene-Veihele, and I am a 46-year-old single mother, storyteller, and multilingual professional with a rich and diverse life behind me. I was born in Latvia and today I live in the Netherlands with my son and my mother, where I continue to build a life grounded in resilience, learning, and purpose.

Professionally, I have worked across many fields, from care and social support to tourism, project management, administration, and intercultural communication, gaining experience that shaped both my character and my worldview. I currently study International Business at the Amsterdam School of Business, continuing my commitment to lifelong education and personal growth.

I write because I believe in the power of truth, experience, and storytelling.

My mission is to transform lived experience into meaningful guidance, using honest storytelling as a bridge for connection, healing, and empowerment. Through reflections rooted in love, loss, resilience, motherhood, education, travel, and personal transformation, I strive to support individuals, especially women, who are navigating change, rebuilding their lives, or searching for their inner strength.

I am here to give voice to the truths we often carry in silence; to show that no journey is too broken to begin again; and to remind every reader that growth is possible at any stage of life. By sharing my story with vulnerability and courage, I aim to create a space where others can find clarity, companionship, inspiration, and the confidence to rewrite their own futures.

Blog

I write to turn my experiences into light, so no one walking through their own darkness feels alone.

Sport

I fight my weight, my excuses, and my laziness everyday, because choosing health is choosing life, and giving up is never an option.

Motherhood

As a single mother, I balance work, home, love, and survival, proving to myself and my son that strength grows in the moments no one sees.

Study

At 46, I study my Bachelor International Business because self-development has no age limit, and I want to inspire others to keep growing, learning, and rising.
